Dead Rose

This picture was taken in April of 2009. It was taken with an ISO of 200, with an f stop of 5.6 at a shutter speed of 1/80 a second. I took this picture after I took the roses that my brother was throwing out. He had recently broken up with his girlfriend that he had been dating for a while, and it was kinda weird that she wasnt around anymore. She gave him these roses on Valentines Day that year. The idea is similar to the idea of the sunflower flower picture (even though this one was a year earlier), where it seemed to me that they weren't together anymore so the rose had lost its life.
